What are you going to do?


As a Business and Product Analyst (BPA), you will be part of our rapidly growing team within the Safety, Security & Crisis Management platform. We operate with the aim of making data-driven decisions and leveraging technological innovation for solutions we offer to our business. This provides excellent opportunities as our platform is intertwined with all aspects of KLM.

 

Our organization and business are closely aligned, allowing you to quickly understand what the business needs and support the development process from ideation to implementation. In summary, as a BPA, you have the opportunity to contribute to improving safety policies and crisis management for our customers and our KLM organization.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • As a BPA, you work in a product team and assist in setting priorities and illustrating business value.
  • Collaborate within and outside the product team on epics and features, which you then translate into user stories.
  • Promote the use and application of innovative technologies.
  • Map out business processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
  • As a team player, support your colleagues within the product team(s).
  • Gather, specify, and prioritize business and user requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • As a BPA, you independently verify acceptance criteria with end-users.
  • Data-driven technology is still evolving, offering significant opportunities for you as a BPA.
  • We utilize APIs and web services, and when necessary, you'll also build them.
  • There are applications that need to be adapted based on changing user requirements.
  • Encourage user adoption by conducting product workshops and sharing relevant communications.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive professional with the necessary knowledge and experience in understanding and improving business processes and translating enhancements and business requirements into technological developments. Someone who helps us continuously improve and maximize the value of our products.


If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you!

 

 

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT concepts and techniques.
  • Experience in modeling business processes using common techniques such as BPMN and UML modeling is a plus.
  • The ability to use data analysis techniques to analyze a product's impact on defined performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of Data Management principles and how these principles can be applied.
  • Proficiency in identifying issues and inefficiencies in business processes to propose appropriate solutions.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into Features.
  • Familiarity with improving user adoption by recognizing and addressing product issues.
  • You can inspire and motivate your colleagues to adapt to the new organizational structure and way of working.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.


Note: For this position, fluency in both Dutch and English is required, and you must be eligible to work in the Netherlands. Sponsorship is not possible (change of sponsorship is).
