The IT organization responds to this by approaching the development of the applications from modern architectural principles, increasingly anticipating customer demand through reference architectures and working closely together with companies who are specialized in specific technologies like  SAP and Tibco to mention a few.

What are you going to do?

E-Business Developers are T-shaped professionals. As E-Business Developer, you take care of specification, design, engineering, testing, delivering, deploying, maintaining, and supporting digital products.

The ability to deliver code in one or more programming languages is at the core of the job. As a T-shaped professional you bring deep expertise in one or more crafts and proficiency in other crafts.

In the product team, the E-Business Developers together secure all the skills, knowledge and experience on analysis, design & architecture, development, quality assurance, DevOps, LCM and operational support as needed.

Depending on the service level agreements (SLA) the E-Business Developer can be asked to participate in consignation duties, for example if 24/7 support is agreed.

We value both technical expertise (analysis, design & architecture, engineering, quality assurance and devops) as well as the interpersonal parts of the job (coaching, consulting, coordination, and support).

Where do you land?

You'll be joining the SCI team under the Organizer IT. The Service Center Integration team is an Integration Center of Expertise covering a wide range of topics, including also IoT (Internet of Things). This vacancy is for an onsite role in the AMT (API Gateway Management) Team based mainly in Amsterdam.

SCI is in the middle of Air France KLM IT, closely collaborating with mostly all other departments like, Ops teams, Security and our internal businesses are our customers.  The team is a mixed Air France and KLM team divided over three locations in the Netherlands (Schiphol Rijk) and France (Valbonne and Toulouse).

You will be developing and supporting comprehensive integration solutions for several of the businesses in AirFrance and KLM. Integration is the key for success for all IT projects.

Your profile

Bachelor or Master degree level or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant fields through study or IT experience.
2 - 4 years of experience building production-grade software.
Must have skills: 
Proficient in Java development (Node js is a plus)
Tibco Mashery API Gateway or relevant API gateway 
Proficient in Spring Boot & Auto Configuration
Hands On Experience with Containerization - Docker & Kubernetes
Hands On Experience with Testing Frameworks - Cucumber, Junit
Proficient in REST & API Design & Best Practices - API First Approach, OAS Specification
Proficient in  Security concepts such as API Security - OAUTH, JWT, OpenID
Hands On with Microservices architecture & Service Oriented Architecture
Hands On Experience with CI/CD Pipeline - Preferably Bamboo
Good Understanding of Basic Networking Concepts - Load Balancers, DNS Resolution
Good Support skills - Analytical Thinking , Problem Solving, Co-ordinating with Stake Holders
 
Good To Have/Optional:
Hands On Experience with Github/Azure App Service/APIM
Experience on Cloud Solutions & Cloud Native Development - Azure Preferably
GraphQL
Kotlin
 
In addition to the above it is crucial to have good communication skills, written and spoken (English), be a team player with an agile mindset, and show commitment and ownership.

  • A gross salary between €4.128,90 and €5.898,43 per month; depending on experience and skills;
