As an Analytics Engineer you ensure that data analytics within Schiphol has everything it needs from a technical perspective to continue doing its work seamlessly. You are ready to support and mentor the data analysts on best practices within a well-curated environment. How you achieve results in this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you can distinguish between main and secondary issues and make connections. You put your talents to work at:
- Helping to roadmap and build scalable data architectures, that support Schiphol’s 2050 vision while eliminating redundant processes.
- Enforcing code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and peer reviews to ensure robust analytics outputs.
- Implementing security-first practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) across all data workflows.
- Driving innovation by prototyping advanced tools like Databricks and optimizing analytics infrastructure.
- Mentoring analysts on redundancy mitigation and scalable solution design to future-proof their work.
You’ll join a team shaping Schiphol’s 2050 vision of an autonomous airport, working with cutting-edge tools like Databricks on Azure. You’ll help drive innovation and professional growth, while making analytics more accessible, lowering the entry-level bar for data analysts to work in a structured, robust tech ecosystem where your impact is seen across business and society.

- At least 3 years of experience as Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks and Spark on Azure infrastructure.
- Proficient in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
Comfortable working Agile and translating analytics needs to tech teams.

- € 4981 to € 6911 gross per month (Schaal 12).
- A 13th month (year-end bonus).
- The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
- An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
