To support our ongoing growth and transformation, we seek an experienced, commercially focused Senior HR Business Partner to work with our Passenger Services leadership team.
The Opportunity
At dnata Netherlands, we are redefining how we acquire, onboard, and expand our business. As Project Manager Commercial, you will drive strategic commercial initiatives, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure the achievement of key business objectives.
This high-impact role suits a commercially minded project manager who excels in dynamic environments, challenges the status quo, and unites stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, Passenger Services, and Commercial teams to achieve measurable results.
You will serve as the central driver of commercial transition initiatives, guiding initiatives from concept to execution with a focus on value creation, customer growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial project leadership
Lead and coordinate strategic commercial projects and growth initiatives throughout the organization.
Oversee project governance, planning, execution/onboarding new customers, and delivery to meet agreed objectives.
Ensure initiatives consistently deliver tangible commercial and operational value.
Stakeholder management & governance
Prepare for and support Steering Committee discussions and executive decision-making.
Challenge assumptions, scrutinize data, and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.
Engage relevant stakeholders, initiative owners, and subject matter experts throughout project delivery.
Business improvement & transformation
Identify opportunities to enhance commercial performance, customer acquisition, service delivery, and profitability.
Develop innovative initiatives and strong business cases to support strategic goals.
Promote continuous improvement and challenge current practices.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Facilitate collaboration among Commercial, Operations, Passenger Services, Finance, HR, Technology, and other key functions.
Eliminate organisational barriers and resolve issues that could affect project success.
Align teams on priorities, milestones, and expected outcomes.
Performance & Delivery Management
Monitor performance, risks, dependencies, and value realization to ensure objectives are met.
Hold initiative owners accountable for meeting delivery milestones, quality standards, and business outcomes.
Ensure transparent reporting and effective communication with senior stakeholders.
Change leadership
Demonstrate new ways of working, accountability, and performance excellence.
Foster a culture of execution, ownership, innovation, and customer value.
Drive engagement and commitment across teams during transformation and growth.
What You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Commercial Management, Economics, Aviation, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, commercial transformation, business improvement, consulting, or strategic project leadership.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and financial skills, including business case development and performance management.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level.
Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, challenge constructively, and deliver results.
Experience within aviation, ground handling, logistics, transport, or other operationally intensive industries is highly desirable. Preferred experience in Aviation.
