Connecting your world

As a intern of the Summer Internship Generative AI, you will work on a practical case and create a solution during a short amount of time, providing you with a hands-on experience in applying AI in real-world scenarios.How you achieve results in this? Working together with a group of fellow interns, you will focus on solving a Gen AI-based use case, contributing to our understanding and application of this technology.
Optimizing flight schedules, enhancing passenger experiences, or even designing future airports - the possibilities are endless. The challenging environment of an airport presents unique opportunities for applying Gen AI.
Working together with our Lead GenAI and be challenged on your innovation skills by our Innovation department.

Last year has seen a wave of interest on the topic of Generative AI. At Royal Schiphol Group, we are keen to explore how we can harness the power of Generative AI in our operations.

You've got this

Hbo or wo in the area of IT. Candidates with a different background, but with a strong interest or experience in the area of IT/AI/Software development are free to/encouraged to apply as well.
Problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Proficiency of API development, fronted development, backend development, Generative AI applications and web development is preferred.
Programming skills (at least Python).
You are available fulltime for 4 - 6 weeks starting from July 22, 2024.
You are currently based in the Netherlands and have a valid BSN number.
Proficient in English.

You get this

€ 400 (hbo)/€ 450 (wo) per month.
A boost for your cv.
Travel expense reimbursement if you do not have an OV-chipkaart (public transport card).
